About Primooutfl
Primooutfl was founded by landscape architect Sofia Mendes and carpenter Tiago Alves, who combined their skills to address a gap in Porto's market: terrace design that integrates structural practicality with aesthetic refinement. The studio name reflects our focus on premium outdoor flow — making every square metre of your terrace work harder and feel more inviting.
Operating from Rua de Cedofeita in Porto's creative quarter, we serve clients who want more than a table and two chairs on a balcony. Our designs account for Atlantic wind exposure, intense summer sun on south-facing terraces, and the salt air affecting materials in Foz and Matosinhos coastal properties.
Our Values
We prioritise sustainable material choices including FSC-certified decking, recycled composite tiles from €38 per square metre, and native Portuguese plants that thrive with minimal irrigation. Every project includes a maintenance calendar tailored to Porto's seasonal rainfall patterns and occasional heat waves.
Our team has grown to six specialists covering design, horticulture, and installation coordination. Typical project timelines range from two weeks for balcony refreshes to eight weeks for full rooftop transformations with custom pergola fabrication.
